Vivek Nemana is PhD student in sociology at Princeton University. He was previously a foreign correspondent in India, where he wrote about the country’s changing rural landscape. His research centers on young people from tribal communities in India that are newly exposed to global markets. Vivek holds an MA in Economics and a BA in Journalism and Economics, both from New York University. He is interested in labor, masculinity, images and the sociocultural ramifications of global markets.
